The new knowledge generated by the research programmes that we fund help us achieve our mission and environmental quality objectives.

    • Adaptive Management of Fish and Wildlife Populations

      The research programme Adaptive Management of Fish and Wildlife Populations will develop sustainable models for fish and wildlife management that are compatible with Sweden’s environmental objectives and with the public interest in fishing and hunting.

    • Aquatic Aliens

      A research programme aimed at increasing our knowledge on how to assess the risks posed by introduced aquatic species and their impact on ecosystems and economy.

    • Marine Biodiversity, Patterns and Processes

      MARBIPP is a scientific programme with the general objective of providing increased knowledge and end-user directed guidelines for the management of coastal marine biodiversity in Swedish waters.
